Now Hiring: Project Manager
Looking for an opportunity to create work that makes a real impact? We are now accepting applications for the role of Project Manager

We are accepting applications until May 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.
About Emdash:
Emdash is a progressive agency that builds campaigns and brands for social change. Since 2009, we’ve partnered exclusively with the for-good sector to tackle some of the biggest issues of our time, like decolonization, climate change, and gender justice.
We are hiring a full-time project manager to guide the entire lifespan of projects at Emdash, keeping project teams on schedule and informed to meet deadlines, and supporting the company to be efficient and organized.
This new role helps support our broader project teams who focus on creative outputs. This is not a design or strategy role. The Project Manager will spend their days managing Asana timelines, creating project briefs, reviewing team bandwidth, and leveraging other tools to keep our engagements on track.
A full job description is available below, but we are specifically interested in those who bring the following skills to complement our team:
- Organized, but not bureaucratic — we have a range of projects on the go at all times, so we need efficient systems and practices that work well with creative projects
- Skilled at being ‘air traffic control’ — you have years of experience managing complex concurrent projects, departments, and/or teams
- Able to keep strategists, designers, and other team members accountable and on task due to your experience leading and coordinating teams — you can confidently follow up to get deliverables and information
- Ability to work well in a fully-remote, asynchronous work environment
- Experience with working with creative teams and knowledge on how to set them up for success
- Experience with Indigenous organizations, especially those with lived experiences
- If you have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other professional training or education in this area, let us know.
We understand structural inequity and are continually working to create structures where diversity, equity, and inclusion are integrated throughout our internal processes and relationships with clients. Candidates who identify as being from marginalized communities, including Indigenous peoples, people of colour, women, people with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQ+ folks are particularly encouraged to apply.
This is a fully-remote position, based anywhere in Canada.
This is a full-time, permanent, newly developed position at Emdash.

- 1. Send us a cover letter describing your experience, skills, and approach to project management, alongside a resume detailing your professional experience. (non-traditional cover letters like video or audio recordings are also welcome — send us an unlisted YouTube link or similar).
